Redneck Spa, 1st Steps, Scrapbook Circle Blog Hop and a Re-Worked Layout

Well today is proving to be a big scrappy day here on my blog.  My apologies now for this super long post but there's so much news to share! Let's get this started...Welcome to Scrapbook Circle’s 5th Anniversary Blog Hop! But wait, if you start your subscription with our May Kit, that qualities you for the discount on the Anniversary Kit.

May Kit Sneak:                                   Anniversay Kit Sneak:

Check out a couple of the layouts I have made with the two kits and then make sure to hop along. Each member of the design team will be giving away a $10 Scrapbook Circle store credit. All you have to do is follow my blog and leave me a comment.  The hop will run May 1 - 3 so get your comments in by then to be eligible to win.

The layouts shown here are just a couple that I have already created with the new Scrapbook Circle kits.  I have so many more but I just can't show them to you yet so check back soon!

This next one was created for today's challenge over at The Studio. Amanda challenged us to create a 2-page layout with at least 3 photos. I had 13 photos, so I knew I should keep away from using too much pattern paper so I experimented with paint, misting ans stencils. It looks so much better in person than here. Why is that??? I really like each page separately but the jury's still out on it as a 2-pager.

I posted this next layout about a week ago and quite honestly I just wasn't happy with it. I pulled it back out of the album and did a little bit more work on it.  I added some more mist, some twine and some little doilys that are sort of football shaped to the side of the photo. I'm better with it now!

Those were all created with the new Scrapbook Circle kits and like I said before, I have several more to show you over the next couple of weeks.  I am saving them because they are my FAVES!

Make sure to follow my blog and leave me a comment for your chance to with the $10 Scrapbook Circle giveaway I am doing on my blog and then hop over to Diane's blog so you enter enter for her giveaway!
