A Bushel of Berries

SUMMERTIME IS HERE!!!!!

School's out, the pool is warm and it feels like 100+ degrees out every day so it must be summer!  What's better on a hot summer day than strawberries? Well I'm sure we can think of many things but I'm thinking strawberry lemonade, strawberry daiquiris, strawberry shortcake and just plain ole strawberries. I recently read how to keep your strawberries fresher longer and you can too by reading HERE, but today, I have a few strawberries that will stay fresh for-evah!

How's that for a bushel of berries that will never spoil?

I pulled out the Little Yellow Bicycle Vintage Summer collection and cut the baskets and the strawberries using my CAMEO. The strawberries are 3D, which means adhering 6 separate cuts to make one strawberry. The Little Yellow Bicycle team just did a product swap with Xyron and May Arts and we got lots of fantastic products from them. The Xyron 2" Cheetah worked phenomenally to adhere the strawberries together. I threaded May Arts ribbon through the basket and made a pretty bow and then added some burlap ribbon around the top to give it the true farm feel.

I had an extra strawberry leftover so I made a "Sweet things make me smile" card using Little Yellow Bicycle Clear Word Stickers.

Thanks for stopping by! Now go on a get crafty!
