I used a mix of Pebbles collections that included gold elements, like Girl Squad, Heart of Home and Merry Merry. I even added some gold packaging from a recent mailer I received.Kick it off with 2018

This pocket page will also be the opening page for my 2018 album next year so it just made sense to add 2018 to the 1st pocket. I added a doily as the base and then just layered over it.
Hello

I was originally going to add "hello" to 2018 but I didn't like the composition so I moved it to the next card, which was created using two patterned papers. Then, I added some thread and a butterfly embellishment.
Grow Together

Since this is an opening spread to my family's new year, the "Grow Together" sentiment was perfect.
Happy Family

I used a rosette from the Valentine collection and just removed the Valentine themed sentiment and added a gold sequin. I placed it ocer layers of paper, tags and a sticker.
#awesome

I created a sequin pocket for this cute little frame. I added some sequins to a small jewelry bag, placing a few in the bag using glue dots so they didn't all fall down to the bottom. Using my fuse tool, I made the bag to the right size of the paper frame. More tips on this can be found on my Instagram (@heatherleopard).
Gold mailer

I included an ampersand on the last pocket to show that our 2018 story will continue throughout the pages of the album. I was even able to align it so that the bubble wrap dots create a "..." after the ampersand.
So that's how I created my resolutions page to kick off my 2018 album.
Tell me, do you do yearly albums and if so, do you create a page for each year?
xoxo,

We snapped these photos while waiting for the train to take us to the North Pole. The girls even received a golden ticket for the ride.

Add some puffy stickers as decorations for your trees to add a bit more dimension. Try to pick out stickers that are the same color as or coordinate with the patterned paper.
Add your photos and other embellishments and don't forget your journaling. While I am going to create a complimentary Christmas traditions pocket page with photos of the elves and extensive journaling, I left space at the top of the photos to add journal strips.
To get started, wrap your gifts in your favorite gift wrap or if your package is small enough, using patterned paper that coordinates with your tags.
Gather your coordinating tags, die cuts, stickers, twine and anything else you's like to decorate your tags.
Add strips of Washi on white cardstock, precut to slightly larger than your Christmas tree design that you will be cutting. Make sure to add enough rows and cover the majority of the paper.
Cut your design using your favorite die cut, machine or by hand.
For all tags, layer die cuts and embellishments. Make sure to write a personalized note to the back of the tags. Then, tie twine around the gifts, making sure to tie your gift tags into the twine.
Now, you are set! These can be used as part of your home decor until you are ready to gift them to someone special.

Gather your Thanksgiving gift supplies and follow the recipe to make your very own delicious zucchini bread. Set it aside while you prepare your packaging.
The Heart of Home collection has the best tags and die cuts for these delicious bread gifts. They are especially great because they already have sentiments pre-printed on them so it makes this project easy peasy! Pick your favorites and start layering them.
Once the bread has cooled, insert them into cellophane bags, wrap some twine and add your tags. Now you have a delicious Thanksgiving gift to treat your guests to.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a blessed week!

Each little artist will walk away from the party with their own painting but here's an idea to keep their creative juices flowing - watercolor party favors. You can whip these up quickly and easily are their are sure to be a hit! You can even have the birthday honoree write personalized thank you cards and all you have to do is insert them in the water color cases.
With that, you're all set for for your DIY art party birthday. Follow me on
Make a super-sized Trick or Treat statement using your favorite font, or download one from your cutting machine's store, like I did. Design the page in the die cut software to make sure everything fits just right and then you can do one of two things.....1, cut the letters from the background paper or 2, cut each letter from your patterned paper of choice. I chose option 1.
After choosing option 1, I hand cut papers to add to the back of the page, shifting them around until I felt the patterns were evenly distributed. You can see that I just have them placed under each letter. I'll trim them up as I adhere them to the back of the paper.
I wanted the words to POP so I traced around each of the letters and what a difference that made!
Since I was doing a Halloween layout about my Archer Girl, I added a fun arrow-like design to the page, where there was a big open gap. It filled the space perfectly and really tied the photo better to the page. The arrow I selected had openings in the feather tips so I added a couple of patterns there too.
